Roger Bass & the Hillbillies is an up and coming band from Southwest Florida. The band formed in June 2006 when Herb Washburn, President of the Southwest Florida Bluegrass Association, was looking for a band to play at their monthly show. Even though the band had limited practice time they did an amazing job.  The crowd's response was incredible, as well. Due to that, Roger and the rest of the band decided that this might be more than a one time deal. The band even released their first CD (still under their original name "Roger Bass & Company"), which was recorded during their first show. The CD was a limited edition and was sold out the day it was released.

Since then the band has released two more albums, "I promise you an old country Song each Day" (September 2006), and "They won't play this on the Jukebox" featuring "I don't let her see me cry" Roger's song about his wife O'Dell (released in September 2007).
