Roger Bass & the Hillbillies is an up and coming band from Southwest Florida. The band formed in June 2006 when Herb Washburn, President of the Southwest Florida Bluegrass Association, was looking for a band to play at their monthly show. Even though the band had limited practice time they did an amazing job.  The crowd's response was incredible, as well. Due to that, Roger and the rest of the band decided that this might be more than a one time deal. The band even released their first CD (still under their original name "Roger Bass & Company"), which was recorded during their first show. The CD was a limited edition and was sold out the day it was released.
Since then the band has released three more albums, "I promise you an old country Song each Day" (September 2006), "They won't play this on the Jukebox" featuring "I don't let her see me cry" Roger's song about his wife O'Dell (released in September 2007), and "This ain't Kaw-Liga" which features favorites such as Kaw-Liga, Fraulein, and many more (released August 2008).

As of June 2010, the band is working on a new CD. The CD will include songs from last season's festival performances. As soon as the CD is released,you will be able to order it right here on the webpage. More info will follow soon.
